Great work, the technician treated and removed a small spot of mold material from the attic. The work was completed within one hour and issue resolved. we're satisfied with the outcome.

Mike was extremely knowledgeable and honest when inspecting my attic and basement. He truly cares about his customers and I would highly recommend him without question as he absolutely knows what he’s talking about and takes safety and his work seriously.

I had a great experience with this business. They were responsive, transparent, and honest and I would definitely recommend them! If it you gives you any sense of how they work, I accidentally overpaid and they called me to correct the error before I even had a chance to reach out. Pretty impressed with their integrity plus their quality of work.

Deb Harris

Mike and his team went above and beyond to mitigate the mold in our basement caused by the failure of a Generac generator during recent storms. They even helped clean and store a collection that was displayed in the basement. They were respectful, neat and super helpful. Mike knows everything about mold! I highly recommend Not Your Average Mold Guys.

Mike, the owner of the company, picked up my initial call and answered my questions with impressive knowledge of the situation, with detailed inquiries of his own, far surpassing those of the other companies I contacted. He was punctual, thorough, and well worth the price to do an in-depth investigation of the smell coming from the crawlspace underneath our home. He was able to locate the source of the issue being an uncapped pipe and recommended getting a plumber immediately, even referring us to a plumber in the area with stellar reviews. Instead of trying to make sure he got paid for a major project, his top priority was making sure our household was taken care of as efficiently and effectively as possible. He went above and beyond again when I called him to get a realistic picture of how to best handle the situation after the plumbers explained the situation. Again, he wasn't focused on trying to sell us his services, but explained all the most realistic options with superlative detail. Mike saved us an immense amount of time and money with his incredible expertise, and I highly recommend his company to everybody that wants to find the source of their crawlspace issues with a comprehension explanation of the best remedial options available.

Wow! I prayed to God to work with the right Contractor and Mike was it. He took a scary situation and made me feel at ease. He went above and beyond during the inspection and caught mold in an upstairs bathroom when the basement was the original issue. I appreciated that he took the time to explain things to me and how I can avoid issues in the future. He walked me through the process of the remediation and how his team would handle things. I felt very confident and reassured. If you want a honest mold expert, who’s going to look at your home and make sure you and your family are safe go with this company. Thank you so much, Mike!!

Jaime Gutshall

Mike was great! We had a suspect area in our home that he checked out. He was so willing to answer all of our questions and really gave us a lot of peace of mind. He gave it to us straight and didn’t try to sell us on anything. It was great experience and we would use them again in the future if needed.

Mike the owner came out and has a wealth of knowledge. He was able to help identify a rather hard problem with a smell that comes and goes. Highly recommend for their service. Fair price and honest.
